Plastic Sofa Sunday

Chicago’s
Sean Alvarez
brings more than 25 years of deep musical knowledge to the decks. Raised on disco, house, techno, hip-hop, soul, and R&B, he moves across genres with the kind of range that always leads back to the roots: soul and jazz.

A regular collaborator with Detroit Diaspora Day Fest, Sean has moved dancefloors throughout the country and abroad alongside some of music’s most recognized names. He’s also the force behind We Love Soul and Afrofuturistic, and the former Swank Society internet radio station.

This Sunday, he brings that history, heart, and unmistakable touch to **Plastic Sofa Sundays at Rent Free Haus**, where the music invites you to settle in, listen closely, and enjoy the room. Come catch the sound.
