Screeching Weasel — Pawn Shop Live

SCREECHING WEASELChicago punk legends Screeching Weasel are bringing their razor-sharp pop-punk attack to Edmonton for one loud, fast and gloriously unapologetic night at Pawn Shop Live.Formed in 1986 by Ben Weasel and John Jughead, Screeching Weasel helped define the melodic, Ramones-fuelled punk sound that would influence generations of pop-punk bands. Their catalogue is packed with short blasts of catchy guitars, sarcastic lyrics and pure underground attitude, from “My Brain Hurts,” “Hey Suburbia” and “Veronica Hates Me” to “I Can See Clearly,” “The Science of Myth” and “Cool Kids.”Expect no-frills punk rock, huge singalongs and enough three-chord chaos to shake the ice off Edmonton.SCREECHING WEASELMarch 12, 2027Pawn Shop Live / Edmonton, AB18+ eventTickets: pawnshop-live.caDoors 8:00 PM.
