Ruby Waters | Suppre$$ions North America Tour

Ruby Waters has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket goes to supporting communities in need with access to essential, life-saving resources, including clean water and other basic needs.

Canadian singer-songwriter Ruby Waters brings her gritty vocals, grunge-inspired guitars, and alternative rock edge to El Club Detroit. Blending indie rock, alternative pop, bluesy soul, and raw emotional songwriting, Waters creates music that feels rebellious, vulnerable, and impossible to ignore.

Her sophomore album, SUPPRE$$IONS, dives into the messy realities of self-discovery, destructive habits, and the struggle to break old patterns. Tracks like “SAME MISTAKES,” “GET A GRIP,” and “WET T-SHIRT” balance dreamy production with grungy guitars and unfiltered honesty, capturing the tension between wanting to change and learning to accept yourself.

After earning critical acclaim for her early EPs, including a 2022 Juno Award nomination for If It Comes Down to It, Waters has built a reputation as a compelling live performer, touring with artists like Shakey Graves and Dallas Green and appearing at Osheaga Festival. Her sound lands somewhere between the raw intensity of Nirvana and the fearless attitude of Rihanna.

For fans of: alternative rock, indie rock, grunge, bluesy vocals, and raw, genre-blending songwriting.
