PIV Records Showcase w. Prunk + Special Guests

PIV heads to Queens on November 7th as Prunk brings the Amsterdam born label and event series to H0L0 for a two room New York showcase. Rather than centering the night around a single stage, the event will spread across both indoor rooms, giving PIV space to present the wider sound and community that have developed around the brand since its launch in 2015. The complete lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.

PIV began as Prunk’s record label, but over the following decade it grew into something much larger. The imprint became closely tied to a particular strain of house music informed by the history of New York and Chicago, while its parties developed their own international identity. PIV showcases have since reached Tomorrowland Belgium, fabric London, Pacha Barcelona, Cova Santa, Amnesia Ibiza, Shelter Amsterdam, and destinations across the Americas, Australia, and other international markets.

Even the name speaks to the thinking behind the project. PIV stands for People Invited, with VIP spelled backwards. It is a simple reversal that reflects the label’s focus on access, community, and the dancefloor rather than exclusivity.

Prunk has remained behind every stage of that growth. As a producer, his discography includes music on PIV, Defected, Djebali, Key Records, and Ewax. Records such as “The Bang,” “Office Gossip,” and “Bocado” with Aron Volta sit alongside his Defected remix of Soulsearcher’s “Can’t Get Enough” and “Heat,” released through Sarah Story’s Stories.

His career as a DJ has run parallel to the growth of the label. Prunk has appeared at Space Miami, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Awakenings, fabric, elrow, Shelter, Savaya, and The BPM Festival, giving both his own music and the PIV name a presence across some of house music’s best known clubs and festivals.

The November 7th edition brings that history to H0L0 across two indoor stages. One room will serve as the main stage, while the second offers a smaller setting within the same showcase. With the lineup still under wraps, the first announcement puts the focus where it began: Prunk, PIV, and more than ten years of records and parties that have taken the Amsterdam label around the world.
