About the concert
Mozhgan plays at Process PDX in Portland on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Tickets cost between $15 and $30.
This October 30th, as the freshly bare trees scratch their skeletal fingers against darkened window panes, as chilly gusts blow fallen leaves through the silent streets, as the jack-o-lanterns flicker and the coyotes howl to the Hunter’s moon hanging bloody on the horizon, as mothers tuck their small children into bed, their imaginations affright with trolls, goblins, demons, and specters of every conceivable variety, join us at Process for a night of ghoulish delights you are sure to remember.
A dark host of cthonian spellcasters will be conjuring auditory wormholes to infernal and diabolically danceable dimensions all night long.
In our main room we feature:
Solar, Mozhgan, Carly Barton, Andy Warren
In our chill room we have:
tondiue, matryoshka, Omari Jazz
Chains will rattle, the dead will claw at the lids of their coffins, and horns will sound in the blasted depths of hell, as a wild riot of dance, abandon, sweat and pulsating bass sound engulf Process until dawn returns, and with it, the retreat of otherworldly forces, and a return to the peace of the mundane.
More about the artists:
Solar
When Solar began Djing in the early 90's, San Francisco's Clubs and raves were places where musically, anything could happen. To be a DJ in this time and place meant having a fierce dedication to the craft of creating electrifying music for people to dance all night. A deep record collection and bold creativity were what people valued in the Djs they would go hear every weekend.
In 1994, Solar and a couple other Djs began bringing a sound system and a generator to the Berkeley Marina for free gatherings to dance and watch the sun set behind the San Francisco skyline. As these Sunset parties grew from dozens to hundreds, and now thousands of attendees, Solar become one San Francisco's best loved DJs. Known for his eclectic sets, blending Techno, Disco, House, Electro and electronic music with the energy of Punk and Psychedelic Rock, Solar has built a loyal following among a discerning crowd of dancers and party goers used to hearing every touring DJ you've ever heard of. Nearly twenty years of playing music for crowds large and small has evolved a style of Djing that seamlessly fuses the best of classic and modern dance music. More recently as resident and co-creator of the No Way Back parties, Solar has earned the reputation of a DJ devoted to the art of mixing and selecting music without regard to ephemeral fashion, trends or fads.
Mozhgan
Born in Iran but finding her artistic sanctuary in California, In 2011 Mozhgan co-created "We Are Monsters" with Jason Greer. This visionary party experience became an escape for those seeking refuge from the mundane. Mozhgan and Jason, later joined by Solar played a diverse array of sounds and created a space without the boundaries of genre and expectation. Mozhgan is known for her captivating dark sound infused with percussive psychedelia. She has toured worldwide for the past 10 years and played at venues like Panorama Bar and De School, among others and become an anticipated regular at US festivals and parties like No Way Back and Sunset Campout. With a deep passion for creating immersive musical experiences, Mozhgan transports her audience through a sonic journey that blends her diverse cultural background with cutting-edge rhythms. Whether at intimate raves or expansive festivals, she invites listeners to lose themselves in the magic of her sound.
