PARALLELS

SECTOR OF GROOVE presents PARALLELS.

Behind every collective is a reason it began, a sound, a vision, a need to create space for something that mattered.

PARALLELS brings together the founding organizers of five NYC techno collectives, each representing the sound and community they’ve helped build. Across six hours of music, experience their distinct approaches to techno and discover the intentions behind them.

Created by Sector of Groove with respect for the people who have been shaping the scene before us, PARALLELS grows from the relationships we’re building and our desire to contribute a space for connection, discovery, and shared movement.

Leading up to the night, we’ll introduce the founders in their own words: why they started, what they stand for, and where they hope to take their communities. On the dance floor, those stories take shape through sound.

Come for the collective you know. Discover the others. Meet the people behind the movement.

Separate collectives. Parallel movements. One dance floor.
