Baile Tropidélico turns two, and to celebrate twenty-four months of wax, heat, and high-energy dancefloor motion at State Park, we’re bringing in a global heavy-hitter for our biggest edition yet: Nickodemus (Wonderwheel Recordings / NYC).

For three decades, Nickodemus has been a quintessential force in global dance music. From his foundational days with NYC’s legendary Giant Step parties to co-founding Turntables on the Hudson, his imprint on the international soundscape is unmatched. As the head of Wonderwheel Recordings, producer, and prolific remixer (having re-worked tracks for everyone from Bob Marley and Nina Simone to Quantic), his sets effortlessly bridge the dots between Latin, Afro, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and electronic rhythms.

Resident duo Radio Ramsés & Nxn hold down the decks as always, bringing their signature deep-digging, all-vinyl selection to ring in two full years of community and dance.
