wngdu [hcp.live | loudmen | Junk Drawer]

Padideh aka wngdu is an Iranian-American DJ, journalist and visual artist born and raised in Denver, CO. Wngdu’s sound ranges wide but generally emphasizes a focus on percussive rhythms and groovy basslines; hot and sweaty is how they like it. Outside of their own DJing, wngdu runs an event series called Human Cluster Project (HCP) and are the resident DJ for Denver-based queer party Junk Drawer. They are ½ of the Loudmen, a project in collaboration with their talented friend Mitch Smith.

They blew our minds with their slow, grinding builder of a set at The Grove this past year at Honcho Campout. It was a highlight of our year, and we can't wait to hear them bring it to the new Hot Mass floor.
