Minibeast/The Vermen

Minibeast is a three-piece band comprised of Peter Prescott (formerly of Mission of Burma, Volcano Suns, Kustomized) playing guitar, keys, noises (mouth & other) & the mind bending rhythm section of Keith Seidel on drums n' percussion and Pete Weiss on bass. We gratefully accept influences from Fela Kuti, Can, and the Stooges. Most recent release: The Maze of Now - was released January 2025. The Vermen are a 3-piece post-punk/psych band based in Southern Vermont. Formed in 2024, the band consists of Ed Powers (drums), Jim Roberto (guitar), and Matt Sharff (bass). In August 2025 they released their debut album “Dawn of The Vermen”. The 8-song album was recorded at Sonelab Studios in Easthampton, MA, with Justin Pizzoferrato (Body/Head, Dinosaur Jr., Pixies) engineering and mixing. The album was mastered by Pete Weiss (Jayhawks, Morphine, Juliana Hatfield) at Jade Cow, Middletown, RI.
