Jazz Charts, Midnight Channel blends the boundary-pushing spirit of 1960s cosmic free jazz with contemporary post-bop, Japanese fusion, and neo-soul grooves. Their live shows move between deep grooves, open improvisation, and moments that feel completely unplanned. https://www.midnightchannel.ca Whiling (Edmonton): Featuring members of Edmonton's music scene known for playing with Pallor, Pigeon Breeders, Mbira Renaissance, and more, Whiling debuted at the Edmonton Jazz Festival in 2023 before appearing at Sled Island and Winterruption.
