Mateo, Matt E Love

DJ Matt E Love rose out of the underground music scene of the 1990s, headlining the legendary club night Disco 2000 at the iconic Limelight in NYC before he was 20. He later founded Boston’s influential Bassline Records and produced bass-driven house music from his aptly named studio, The Bassline Lab. He has released records on Element Recordings, Monophonic Records. Syncopate, Kingsize, Talent Alliance, and Barely Legal. His releases sparked an international touring career across Europe and North America, with appearances alongside legends such as: Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Derrick Carter, Doc Martin, Danny Tenaglia, and many more. Over the past year, Matt has performed internationally at the Cannes Film Festival (BTB with Sasha), as well as in Italy, Spain, St. Barth, Saint Tropez, Ibiza, and in the US, Aspen, Los Angeles, Miami, and Montauk. Now back in the studio, he has recently released a variety of indie dance tracks,.
