We’re so stoked to announce our next night in the village at maxx fish whistler Lost in the village Vol.2, A night curated with talent coming from different angles of the scene, we are really excited to share this one with you. LOST SIGNAL SOUND SYSTEM: Lost Signal Sound System was founded by two brothers rooted in the Sea to Sky corridor, shaped by the region’s underground music community and driven by a simple reality. The local scene deserved better sound reinforcement than what was available. Rather than settle, they engineered their own solution from the ground up. Every enclosure in the Lost Signal rig is hand-built, each cabinet tuned and voiced specifically for underground electronic music. The system is designed around low-end weight and clarity, delivering deep, physical sub-bass pressure paired with full-range fidelity. It’s a purpose-built stack that does justice to selectors, live performers, and the promoters who hold the culture together. Lost Signal is an owner, operated, community, rooted sound system. The brothers provide turnkey audio reinforcement for DJs, promoters, outdoor sessions, and grassroots events across the Sea to Sky, bringing proper sound culture to the corridor. Built by locals, for the scene that raised them. Kraang: Kraang fuses percussion-driven bass music with sub-focused breakbeat energy. His DJ sets and production sound pays homage to his UK roots. Expect vibey, air-punching cadences for sub-cranked dance floors.Kraang is the co-founder of Odd One Records, a Vancouver label that supports local producers, fosters community, and empowers emerging artists. SLB: Im SLB, a uk born, Squamish BC resident. His journey starts at 17 when him and his brother got a set of turntables. Amassing a big record collection throughout the year and learning to dj vinyl just before the DJ technology boom started, really help cement the passion for electronic music and djing from a young age. With over twenty years of experience djing clubs, festivals, having supported some of my favourite artists. Running his own club nights of all shapes and size, under the brand SWRV doing what he can to help spread the sounds in the sea to sky. He recently released an ep with Kraang on Vancouver based record label Oddone records. He also have a monthly Bside radio with my friends Mursa and Kraang. Snakes n' ladders: Snakes n’ Ladders is an emergent force in the Vancouver underground. Drawing heavy influences from the full spectrum of UK club music, he weaves together iconic classics with forward-thinking selections resulting in a set focused on textures and grooves that keep the system pumping and the floor moving until the lights come on. Arkouda: Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Connor grew up surrounded by electronic music and began mixing as a way to curate his own listening experience. Spending a lot of his time at The Black Box, he draws a lot of his taste from the artists and labels that are represented in the Denver dubstep scene, such as Juan Forte, System Music, Deep Medi, and White Peach. Riddim fernandez: hailing from Barbados and raised in Toronto, Riddim Fernandez is a multi-talented DJ and producer with deep roots in reggae, hip-hop, and jungle music. With a career spanning decades, he’s performed at renowned festivals like Shambhala, Basscoast, Diversity, Pachena Bay, and Harvest. As a member of the Whistler Junglists, Riddim brings a unique blend of musical influences to every performance. He also ran a deep dubstep and UK garage night at the famous Tommy Africas, and has enjoyed regular club nights in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver. Riddim’s sets are a vibrant mix of dancehall, reggaeton, hip-hop, drum and bass, UK garage, and his signature reggae-influenced bass music. Whether it’s funky, melodic grooves or deep dubstep, his junglist heart shines through in every track. His music is available on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Junodownload, and Beatport, with releases on labels such as RootsDeep Records, Woodwork Records, Ironshirt Recordings, Cimmerian Records, and East Van Digital.
