For our eighth installment of our monthly residency, we will be local crew and event series organizer, FLUXIONS (@fluxions.exe). Representing FLUXIONS are co-founders Vertigo (@v.ertiig0) & bad juuju (@bad.juuju).

FLUXIONS is bad juuju and Vertigo's event series that curates sweaty, bassy and foggy DIY focused events in San Francisco, CA. Launching in 2024, their events and HydeFM residency push soundscapes that mutate in real-time, weaving between hypnotic atmospheres, pulsating beats, and heavily percussive bass lines.

In true Local500 (@local500sf) fashion, we’re continuing to bring love back to Thursday nights in San Francisco. Expect techno, percussive bass lines, groove, and a tighter underground feel as we showcase local crews and producers.

bad juuju: Seamlessly weaving between swirling psychedelic worlds, percussive intensity, and deep bass frequencies, bad juuju moves crowds with her eclectic approach rooted in club sensibilities. As a member of rising San Francisco-based DJ collective Vitamin1000 and resident on Voices Radio (UK), she crafts immersive dancefloor experiences through textural polyrhythms and low-end heavy selections. Equally an artist and community leader, bad juuju co-curates the experimental party series Fluxions alongside her CYBER1A duo partner Vertigo and organizes Vitamin1000’s yearly festival, VITARAVE. With appearances on world-renowned stages such as Keep Hush & Outside Lands Music Festival, bad juuju continues to build recognition as a compelling new voice in electronic music.

Vertigo: San Francisco-based Vertigo captivates crowds with her dissonant and syncopated cuts, creating genre-bending sets that blend moments of intense body movement and emotional introspection. With sets that blur the lines between chaos and control, the Vitamin1000 and HydeFM (SF) resident masterfully weaves glitchy, dub-inspired melodies and percussive bass lines, sculpting psychedelic and texture-heavy soundscapes. She extends her musical vision as Programming Director of Vitamin1000's annual festival Vitarave and curating the experimental series FLUXIONS alongside CYBER1A duo partner bad juuju. With performances on Keep Hush (UK), Outsidelands, The Lot Radio (NYC), and Aaja Radio (London), Vertigo continues to expand her global reach.
