About the concert
KONTRAVOID Kontravoid!s masked mystique has remained for over a decade. Ever since the releaseof his self-titled LP in 2012, the Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based Cameron Findlayhas perfected dark pop with his oeuvre that teeters between the EBM, electro and gothgenres. His productions, such as 2019!s Too Deep and 2021!s Faceless, dive to themost derelict corners of foggy, strobe-lit clubs: there is no choice but to dance. Butthere is an uncanny softness and obvious songwriting ability to compose heart-wrenching songs that are both captivating and drenched in melancholy2018!sUndone has been a fan favorite since it came out on Berlin!s Fleisch Records.Onstage, Kontravoid demands the audience!s attention with his powerful performancethat balances his specific concoction of harsh beats with his signature bass linerhythmic patterns. He!s toured alongside Boy Harsher, ADULT., Drab Majesty and Hide, and has remixed the likes of Schwefelgelb and Kris Baha. Truly a man of the shadows,Kontravoid is an unparalleled fixture in the dark electronic arena.- Andi Harriman BUZZ KULLBuzz Kull is the solo project of Sydney-based musician and producer MarcDwyer. Since 2012, Buzz Kull has been blending elements of darkwave, EBM,and synth-pop into a sound thats dark, dissonant, and danceable. His earlywork, including his 2017 debut Chroma and 2018s New Kind of Cross, wasdefined by stripped-back production and a fascination with minimal synthtextures. These records drew from early industrial and post-punk traditions, pairing drum machine-led tracks with cool, monotonous vocals and moodyatmospherics.Over time, Dwyers sound has grown harder and more precise. His 2022 albumFascination, released through Italian label Avant! Records, marked a turningpoint - a sleek, focused collection of dark dance tracks that channel the energyof late-80s body music. 2026 saw the release of Deep Hate, a four-songstatement of intent: relentless, cinematic, and charged with nocturnal electricity. These tracks mark Buzz Kulls most focused and ferocious work to date, adocument of emotional clarity and mechanical pulse that embodies HeartwormPresss devotion to beauty, severity, and the ecstatic void.Outside of Buzz Kull, Dwyer is a frequent collaborator and remixer, workingwith artists across the darker ends of electronic music. He has touredextensively throughout Europe, the US, LATAM, and Asia, sharing stages withcontemporaries like Cold Cave, Boy Harsher, Kontravoid, and Spike Hellis.
