Pelts is the collaborative project between frontman Leo Kerner, guitarist Aidan Halpin, bassist Caleb LeJeune, and drummer Brendan Hoekstra. What started as a weekly surf-punk basement jam has slowly developed into a heavier, more introspective sound, defined by intertwining guitar melodies and unrelenting driving rhythms. The group derives its sound from indie, slowcore, and ambient-pop, with a number of different influences, including Modest Mouse, Slow Dive, Saoirse Dream, and Duster. angular gyrus is a solo project creating live guitar loops and drum beats inducing a trancelike state which both propels headbanging and lulls one into a sense of counting  on two   or even  several  number lines at once
