Jenö and Markie came up together in late-'80s London. They threw Whoosh!, an outlaw acid house party in an East London bookstore, then ran with the Tonka Hi-Fi Sound System on Brighton beach. In '91 they moved to San Francisco and started the Wicked Full Moon parties, which helped shape West Coast dance music.
