Jeffrey Silverstein, Nighttime, San Diego Freak Out DJs

21+ event w/ valid ID at Soda Bar - San Diego.

Jeffrey Silverstein – Portland-based guitarist and songwriter Jeffrey Silverstein makes warm, spacious music at the intersection of cosmic country, psychedelic folk, and ambient Americana. Blending meditative guitar work, pedal steel, laid-back grooves, and plainspoken songwriting, Silverstein creates songs that feel equally suited for long drives and quiet reflection. His latest work finds him firmly rooted in the Pacific Northwest creative community, continuing to blur the lines between country music, instrumental exploration, and psychedelia.

Nighttime, the project of Eva Louise Goodman, makes spellbinding folk music that feels beamed in from another era. Drawing from ’60s folk, crystalline psychedelia, girl-group pop, and Americana, Goodman builds songs that are intimate, mysterious, and quietly transportive. With echoes of Vashti Bunyan, Sibylle Baier, and Pentangle, Nighttime turns familiar sounds into something wonderfully strange and distinctly her own — music for twilight hours, winding roads, and worlds just beyond view.
