Jake Rozier

Jake Rozier's music offers a blend of heartfelt storytelling and energetic, hard-driving instrumentation, creating a meaningful and memorable live experience. Reminiscent of bluegrass, country, blues, and even grunge, it can be difficult to categorize Rozier's music under one genre; however, the honest storytelling throughout his discography overshadows the necessity for labels. Jake's music is about the human condition, directly reflecting much of his own experience in navigating life. In August 2022, Rozier released his debut record, Hard to Kill a Ghost, followed by his second studio project, Bulletproof (EP), in September 2023. In 2025, he won the Earl Scruggs Music Festival's Battle of the Banjos competition, earning two performance slots at the festival. He is currently working on a new full-length record, expected in early 2027.
