Cherry Bomb: HUNY XO x SDOT

Club kids, you bought to have it all: an all Cherry Bomb everything weekend kicks off less than 2 weeks from now when Baltimore deejay, producer, and Black queer icon SDOT makes his Pittsburgh debut.

On Friday Sept 25 our cunty techno dance hard party enters the Fall season with resident HUNY XO joined by this *wildly* accomplished mainstay of the global club circuit. We actually feel very comfy calling SDOT your favorite DJ’s favorite DJ because the selectors werking the underground nightlife scene to a frenzy right now all have at least one SDOT track locked and loaded. Pure effing fire, trust that.

And the very next day, 9/26, Cherry Bomb Day Party delivers house music in the sun. Maybe we were supposed to get rained out just so the full Cherry Bomb fantasy could be achieved.

The oonz oonz is Black AF. All killer no filler.

ABOUT CHERRY BOMB:

Cherry Bomb originally ran from 2021-2023; the first event at Spirit post-pandemic. HUNY XO was awarded Pittsburgh's Person of the Year in Music in 2021 for reinvigorating the city's nightlife scene through Cherry Bomb. The residency's cohort of artists, both PGH based and national, and many of whom count CB as their first out of town residency or big break, have played The Renaissance World Tour, Berghain, Lot Radio, Boiler Room, Hood Rave, Honcho Campout, Basement, and so much more.

In 2025 Cherry Bomb came out of a 2 year hiatus with 2 iconic 2-floor bangers. And now, in 2026, we're back at it monthly with the exact same mission: to champion the Black AF roots of electronic dance music and remind PGH what the present and future of the underground sounds like (and who it belongs to).
