House Standards (Oct 2026)

THE VENUE

When the Mixmaster first created his House Standards event at Smoot Standard, he wasn't sure how it would turn out. But the results speak for themselves.

First event was an intimate movie. The second event? A true blockbuster PACKING an 80+ capacity venue even for a ticketed event. The third? A birthday set that will go down in history.

Fourth time, we up the stakes with a bigger venue in Cloud & Spirits.

Today's dancefloors are dead especially in Boston: Too many phones, too many Boiler Rooms, and too many stages.

It's time to SET THE STANDARD AGAIN. I hope to see you all there!

THE EVENT

House Standards returns close to Halloween with a longer night. And with a longer night means more DJs and longer sets.

The headliner for this event is an up and coming House producer and DJ in klopp specializing in Complextro and Electro House. Creator of WHO'S ON AUX, his remixes especially for King, Colors, and Slow Down, have been massive favorites in his collection and is looking to bring back the 2010s electro and complextro touch in a big way.

More recently, he curated his own Electro House and Electroclash event at BSMNT and was direct support for Krewella last month.

SUBGENRES

This night will feature House music starting from Classic House and going up to Indie House, Tech House, Latin Tech, Minimal, and Electro House.
