Hog w/ Darkened Skies, Oceans Under Stars, and Chûnk

HOG returns to The Vat on Saturday, October 17, with Darkened Skies, Oceans Under Stars, and Chûnk for a four-band night that moves through punk, heavy rock, shoegaze, and everything in between. Victoria’s HOG brings fast riffs, aggressive hooks, and the kind of raw punk-rock energy that feels right at home in a packed room. Edmonton’s Darkened Skies pairs hard rock and metal with haunting vocals and deeply personal songwriting, while fellow Edmonton act Oceans Under Stars pulls you into expansive, melancholic soundscapes shaped by shoegaze, post-rock, and psychedelia. Rounding out the bill, Vancouver trio Chûnk delivers no-nonsense alternative rock with a stoner-rock edge. Four distinct sounds, one very loud Saturday night. Come early, catch every band, and find your new favourite. Saturday, October 17, 2026 The Vat Pub · 5301 43 St, Red Deer HOG · Darkened Skies · Oceans Under Stars · Chûnk
