It is our pleasure to announce the 11th Annual Johnny Cash Birthday Bash , celebrating the music and legacy of the “Man in Black”. The music will be presented by Bridgeport based and Walrus Presents fixture, Hitch & The Giddyup, and feature Rock, Country, Gospel, and Cash aficionado, Nathaniel Hintz! They will be joined by an all-star cast of local musicians including, Liz Ashkins, Chris Strange, Mike Strange, and more! Moving skillfully between original bluegrass, soulful Americana, and honky tonk country, Hitch & the Giddyup trade in a variety of musical wares. Their harmonious singing, hot picking, and especially deft song craft make them a unique presence in the folk music sphere.
