Nice people and good dance music, every first Thursday at Mothership. We feature extended sets from talented local DJs who you normally only see humbly supporting headliners or in stacked weeknight lineups—letting them share their unique sound on the dance floor.

This month, we're featuring HIDRA. Born in picturesque San Marino with roots tracing back to Albania, HIDRA is a rising star in the local SF scene. She was exposed to a diverse array of musical influences from an early age, sparking her passion for music, singing and DJing, and has shared lineups with the likes of Black Coffee, Seth Troxler, Claptone and more.

Drawing inspiration from Albanian heritage and the vibrant music scene in Europe, HIDRA has developed a unique and eclectic musical style that seamlessly blends traditional Balkan rhythms with contemporary electronic beats, captivating audiences with infectious energy and irresistible grooves.
