Fishing FUNdamentals Youth Camp 🎣 Get ready to learn, cast, catch, and have FUN! Join the Ebony Anglers Foundation for Fishing FUNdamentals Youth Camp , an exciting hands-on outdoor experience created especially for young anglers ages 8–12 . On Saturday, September 26, 2026 , campers will spend the morning learning the essential skills they need to feel confident around the water and enjoy the sport of fishing. Whether your child has never held a fishing rod or already has some experience, this camp provides a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for learning. Young anglers will rotate through interactive learning stations covering: 🎣 Fishing safety & casting techniques 🪢 Knot tying 🪱 Bait & basic tackle 🐟 Fish identification 🎣 Parts of a fishing rod & equipment basics After completing the learning stations, campers will take their new skills to the water for a supervised hands-on fishing experience with guidance and encouragement from the Ebony Anglers and our trained volunteers. Our goal is bigger than teaching kids how to fish. Fishing FUNdamentals is designed to build confidence, promote outdoor safety, develop new skills, and introduce the next generation to the joy and possibilities of spending time outdoors.
