For this edition of Club Culture, we welcome DVS1, one of techno’s most enduring and deeply respected figures. Emerging from the early ’90s Midwest rave scene, his path has been shaped by a lifelong dedication to sound, community, and the dancefloor rather than passing trends. Whether moving through pure techno, soulful house, or futurist electro, his sets are driven by instinct, technical precision, and an acute understanding of how to hold a room. Across releases on Axis, Transmat, Klockworks, PoleGroup, HUSH, and Mistress Recordings, residencies at Berghain / Panorama Bar, Bassiani, Fuse, and Smartbar, and projects like The Wall of Sound, DVS1 has built a body of work that consistently places shared experience and sonic depth at the center.
Opening the night is Infra resident Meschwitz, the Bolivia-born, Boston-based DJ whose sets are built through restraint, fluid transitions, and a careful command of tension. Her selections unfold patiently through hypnotic textures and subtle rhythmic shifts, allowing momentum to develop gradually while remaining deeply attuned to the energy of the room.
