Doc Martin at The Nest

SERIOUS SOUL & HALLUCIENDA presents
DOC MARTIN (Sublevel | Los Angeles)

A product of the San Francisco dance music explosion that gave rise to legendary crews like Sunset Sound System and Wicked, Doc Martin has been a driving force in underground electronic music for more than three decades. After relocating to Los Angeles in the early 1990s and becoming deeply immersed in the city's thriving rave scene, Doc quickly established himself as one of the most respected and influential DJs in the world. Over the course of his career, he has performed across the globe and held residencies at iconic venues and parties including Twilo, Tunnel, Roxy, Metropolitan, The End (London), fabric, and countless other legendary dance floors.

Today, Doc remains as active, relevant, and in-demand as ever. Widely recognized as one of the true pioneers of house music, he has built a loyal following through his fearless, genre-defying approach behind the decks. His sets effortlessly weave together house, techno, acid, tribal rhythms, deep basslines, and unexpected sounds from every corner of the underground. What makes a Doc Martin set so special is his constant pursuit of discovery. A lifelong music obsessive, he can often be found digging through record stores in every city he visits, adding new treasures to an ever-growing collection. Hearing Doc Martin play isn't just hearing a DJ—it's hearing a lifetime of musical exploration, curiosity, and passion translated onto the dance floor.
