As we count down our final nights at Dead Letter No. 9, we had to bring back one of our favorites. Ultra Violet is taking over on Thursday Oct 22nd, bringing a lineup of special guests and music in both the Foyer and CARGO.

A force in NYC’s underground dance scene, Bronx-born Dominican-American DJ Ultra Violet blends house, disco, dembow, and a healthy dose of nostalgia into sets that are sweaty, euphoric, and impossible to leave early. Drawing from the energy and cultural collision of the city she grew up in, her selections move effortlessly between genres while keeping one thing front and center: the dance floor.

For this special night, Ultra Violet is digging into the crates for a vinyl set in the Foyer alongside La Máquina del Tiempo, straight from the Bronx. Expect salsa, merengue, and Spanish classics all night long. This one’s for la cultura, for dancing with your people, and for singing along when your favorite record comes on.
