About the concert

Bryan J Hughes & The Crew - Christmas CD Release Concert takes place at New Tampa Performing Arts Center in Tampa on Friday, December 4, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

A Bay Area favorite since 2021, Bryan J Hughes & the Crew have performed at venues such as The Palladium Theatre and the Floridian Social Club, where they held a long-running Sunday residency. Fronted by vocalist Bryan J Hughes and featuring trumpet standout James Suggs, the band also includes two members of La Lucha, the Best of the Bay Jazz Trio: keyboardist Dr. John C. O’Leary III and bassist Alejandro Arenas, with Jean Bolduc on drums. The group brings a cocktail of consistently retro-cool sounds but expect a true twist for this concert as they perform songs from their new Christmas CD.
