About the concert
Emma Jane is a singer-songwriter from Durham, North Carolina. Emma writes what she knows, creating lush indie-pop songs that are equal parts nostalgic, powerful, and sweet. She recorded her debut project at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, NC in 2023. https://open.spotify.com/artist/5GyEOcMdeexgOvbgCR3TeB?si=jOwq3FgrRLW4A91HJ-fiIQ&utm_medium=share&utm_source=linktree&nd=1&dlsi=8e24ea6a33024dc2 Brian K & The Parkway play earnest and expressive Rock & Roll that’s drawn comparisons to Tom Petty, ‘70s Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Warren Zevon, and The Replacements. Their sound blends ragged Americana grit with memorable hooks. Following the release of their debut album Killing The Bear, the band immediately hit the road, clocking more than 50 shows across 13 states + DC. The band has shared stages with Wheatus, Steve Poltz, Nicki Bluhm, and Joe Grushecky, appeared on three major market TV shows including a live performance on "Today in Nashville," and gotten radio play on more than 30 radio stations across the US and Canada. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0lsMew5z6XiZ7aFqmqPuqJ With a sultry, soothing voice and carefully crafted lyrics, she earns her spot in a long tradition of storytelling songwriters. Juliana has toured nationally and been featured at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and Pride festivals across the Southeast, and her music has appeared in independent films and on the hit surreal fiction podcast “Welcome To Night Vale”. https://open.spotify.com/artist/1hkzFTXRInjtqDNhaBw7nH
