Bloom Room

DJ Mac Tray aka Tracey Wong (黃麗塋), is a Teochew American multi-hyphenate artist who makes you wanna dance. As a dancer first, Tracey’s deepest joy about spinnin’ is sharing a vibration that can bring people together to move and release.

She’s spun at your local dance parties such as Azn Glo at Neumos, Viva La Soul at Monkey Loft, Chinatown/ID Block Party, and way back then parties like Dayshift. For battles, she has spun for various jams such as Massive Monkees Day and spins every quarter for the EOT Battle at The Beacon: Massive Monkees Studio which is a street & club form battle with categories such as: Waacking/ Whacking, Breaking, Locking, Popping, and House battle. DJ Mac Tray also spins for the Kiki Ballroom community and has spun for Strike a Pose, The Rebound Kiki Ball (Portland, OR), Portland Pride, and You Are Now mini ball.

Born out of the dance studio, Bloom Room is a space for dancers, DJs, and lovers of house to come enjoy the music and get down! An event with connection at its heart, Bloom Room was co-created by house dancers seeking a space to gather with friends and dance with each other all while expressing ourselves through the sounds we love. We open this event to all who want to come dance and contribute, whether you’re trying to cypher, move freely in your own space, or anything in between. We do it for the love, and we can’t wait to see what we co-create with all of you.
