r u busy? it’s time to heal.

finding a place to sit and listen deeply is just as important to me as finding a place to bounce off the walls and go wild; i’m pleased to host four artists whose talents have shown me the importance of sonic healing. thanks to the Ki Smith Gallery, i’m excited to back these musicians with incredible LOUD sound.

GROUND RULES

1. this is a deep listening event; complimentary tea and fruit will be served (byob otherwise), but in doing so, we must first and foremost respect the space.
2. silence and focus is paramount for this event. we have a two-floor space with a designated talking floor and a performance floor; please limit your conversation on the performance floor and please no flash photography.
3. we will be recording the show for archive!
4. we encourage sitting and are treating this as a home; this means shoes must be OFF/COVERED on the performance floor… we will provide shoe check and disposable slippers/shoe covers, floors will be disinfected and incense/air purifying will be in use during our event. if you prefer please bring your own blanket or cushion to sit on the floor.
5. there is NO space here for racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, ageism, or any discriminatory behavior/language. there is NO space here for unconsensual touching/violence.
6. lastly, please come with open ears and respect the performers.
