About the concert
Labor Day weekend at Kiku Room goes the distance.
For a very special Sunday night, Studio Barnhus co-founders Axel Boman and Kornél Kovács take over the room for an all-night-long B2B, playing open to close from 8PM to 2AM.
Few labels have shaped the stranger, warmer and more playful corners of modern house music quite like Stockholm’s Studio Barnhus. Founded by Boman, Kovács and Petter Nordkvist, the label has spent more than 15 years building a world entirely its own, where deep house, disco, pop, oddball electronics and outright weirdness comfortably share the same dance floor.
Individually, Axel and Kornél are two unmistakable selectors. Together, with six uninterrupted hours and nowhere else to be, expect something much harder to predict.
No quick festival set. No handoff. Just two longtime friends and collaborators digging deep, trading records and letting the room dictate where the night goes.
And we’re starting early.
Our Labor Day Sunday begins with a separate High Tide session from 4PM to 6PM. Shige takes us through 4PM to 6PM, while Pancho Ibáñez prepares conservas paired with cocktails and wine.
Bob Dazzla takes over 6PM to 8PM, warming the room straight into the night ahead.
High Tide is separately ticketed, but your High Tide ticket includes 2 bites, 2 drinks, and entry to Axel Boman & Kornél Kovács later that evening. Link provided separately.
