Her writing is inspired by her experiences growing up queer in rural America, creating universally relatable stories through deeply personal lyricism. Katie Blvd - Katie Blvd is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, and beat maker from Raleigh, NC. She plays locally around Greensboro, while also popping up in Winston Salem, Durham, Raleigh and Asheville. She is known for her smoky-sweet-deep voice, unconventional lyricism, bosso nova style guitar, and soul filled 90's inspired beat selections.
