Andrew Maurer - 100% Organic November 7, 2026 - November 25 , 2026 Art Walk and Artist reception: Saturday, November 7, 4-7pm Exhibition Statement: 100% Organic is a one-person show of lighthearted but rigorous abstract paintings about the promises and pitfalls of living off the land. The work references my ongoing adventures with maintaining a ramshackle farmstead, and serves as a metaphor for the precarious balance of order and chaos that inevitably results as my partner and I reckon with life’s conflicting demands of time, space, and money. Bio: Andrew Maurer has a BFA in drawing and printmaking from The University of Toledo and an MFA in printmaking from Indiana University. He is the Interactive Media Coordinator for the Imaging Center at Smith College, where he works on projects at the intersection of art and technology. He lives in New Salem, MA with his partner Zara and his son Simon.
