About the concert

In the garden at The Underground Museum, three of LA's Black-led collectives soundtrack an art + dining experience. One night only.

The music. Three of LA's Black-led collectives take the garden. Alima Lee (Rave Reparations), DJ Kita (Hood Rave) and Teira (Into the Woods) thread the line between the club, the gallery and the academy.

The art. A two-gallery exhibition open all night: Ricky Weaver and Daye Ase Amen explore how the spirit moves under the gaze of total surveillance.

The food. A three-course dinner under the trees by Chef Tea of Little Los Angeles.

This is the closing night of Black Portraiture[s]: Los Angeles

Hosted by Ricky Weaver.

Curated by Kevin Bernard Moultrie Daye
