A Nightmare on Elm Street presented by Mom I'm Going takes place at Davis Theater in Chicago on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

The Mom I'm Going music & movie series is back with a Halloween party to kick off the season. Join us for a night of dark and haunting dance music followed by a screening of the synth scored, grungy slasher classic: A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

AJP will play a vinyl focused set of dark and disjointed house music inspired by 80s Chicago jackin style and early acid house.

Darger will be drawing from horror movie scores and haunted house soundtracks, playing 80s new wave and minimal synth, industrial, ebm, and scary dance music.

Music runs from 9pm to midnight. FREE screening of A Nightmare on Elm Street in the historic theater at midnight.
