Whitey Morgan
country
Whitey Morgan is an American outlaw country singer from Flint, Michigan, who leads the band Whitey Morgan and the 78's. His gritty honky-tonk draws on Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and David Allan Coe with a blue-collar, steel-guitar sound far from mainstream Nashville pop. He has released six studio albums, including "Hard Times and White Lines" in 2018, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2024. Live sets are built on relentless touring energy, rough-hewn picking, and hard-truth songwriting.
