Wax is American rapper Michael Jones from Maryland, now based in Los Angeles, who also sings and plays guitar. His songs blend indie hip hop with reggae touches and witty personal lyrics. He broke out on YouTube in the late 2000s and the 2012 single "Rosana" charted across Europe; album "Continue" followed in 2013. Live bills often pair him with DJ Hoppa for club sets mixing rap, singing, and crowd hooks.
