Vick Lavender

Vick Lavender is a Chicago producer and DJ, founder of Sophisticado Recordings and co-owner of Bridgeport record store. His deep soulful house draws on jazz fusion, R&B and world music. After Strictly Jaz Unit and live band Mr A.L.I., he launched Sophisticado in 2006, later on vinyl via Joaquin Claussell. Live, he builds patient, spiritually minded sets for dancers.
