Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats
rockalternative rock
Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats are an English psychedelic rock and doom metal band formed in Cambridge in 2009 by Kevin Starrs. Using vintage instruments and gear, they draw on late 1960s heavy rock, with lyrics steeped in occult imagery and dark storytelling. Their 2013 album "Mind Control" tells of a cult leader, and that year they supported Black Sabbath on 16 European dates.
