Twista is an American rapper born Carl Terrell Mitchell in Chicago, Illinois. He is known for a rapid-fire chopper style that once earned him a Guinness World Record for fastest English-speaking rapper in 1992. His 2004 album "Kamikaze" topped the Billboard 200, led by the number-one single "Slow Jamz" with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx. Live performances showcase his double-time delivery and Chicago hip-hop roots.
