Tripping Daisy is a neo-psychedelic rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1990 by singer and guitarist Tim DeLaughter. The band's pop rock is marked by heavy use of vocal effects and unconventional riffs. Its album "I Am an Elastic Firecracker" (1995) produced the hit "I Got a Girl," and after the band split in 1999 several members went on to form the Polyphonic Spree.
