Tricky

Tricky is the stage name of Adrian Thaws, an English musician, producer and rapper from Bristol. A central figure in the Bristol underground scene that produced trip hop, he works in a hazy, fragmented style drawing on hip hop, soul, reggae and ambient techno. He first appeared with Massive Attack before the solo debut "Maxinquaye" (1995), named after his mother and hailed as a landmark of the genre.
