Thursday is a post-hardcore band from New Brunswick, New Jersey, formed in 1998. Their music draws on emo and screamo, with screamed and sung vocals set against layered guitars. They broke through with "Full Collapse" (2001) on Victory Records, then signed to Island, and "War All the Time" (2003) debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200. The band went on hiatus in 2011 and reunited in 2016.
