The Spits are a punk band formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1993 by brothers Sean and Erin Wood, later based in Seattle. Their garage and synthpunk is loud, dirty and low budget, built on short anthemic songs. All six of their studio albums are self-titled and informally numbered one to six, released between 2000 and 2020. The band plays in costume, from graduation robes and nun outfits to Ronald Reagan masks.
