The Spazmatics are a franchise of 1980s new wave tribute bands from Los Angeles, managed by Perfect World Entertainment. They perform covers of synth-pop, rock, and new wave hits from the decade. Created in 1995, the act first appeared in Agoura Hills, California. Live shows feature nerd personas, outrageous costumes, robotic choreography, and fast-paced, high-energy performances.
