The Kentucky Headhunters
country
The Kentucky Headhunters are a country rock and Southern rock band from Edmonton, Kentucky, formed in 1986 after years as the Itchy Brother group. They fuse honky-tonk, blues, and Southern rock with bar-band energy that appeals to rock and country audiences alike. Their debut album "Pickin' on Nashville" (1989) produced four Top 40 country singles and won a 1991 Grammy for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group. Their live shows are rowdy, high-spirited sets built on strong instrumental chops.
