The Infamous Stringdusters are a progressive bluegrass band formed in Nashville in 2006. The five-piece works without drums, pairing dobro, banjo, fiddle, guitar and double bass with the long, improvised jams of a rock band. "Fork in the Road" (2007) won IBMA Album of the Year and named them Emerging Artist of the Year, and "Laws of Gravity" (2017) won the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.
