Texas Is the Reason

Texas Is the Reason is a post-hardcore and emo band formed in New York City in 1994 by Norman Brannon and Chris Daly. The band's name references both a Misfits lyric and theories about the Kennedy assassination. Their only album, "Do You Know Who You Are?" (1996) on Revelation Records, came shortly before they split in 1997, and the band later reunited several times before re-forming in 2025.
