Stereo Donkey is an instrumental surf rock trio from Bellingham, Washington, featuring Soundgarden co-founder Hiro Yamamoto on bass. Their sound blends garage surf and exotica into a heavy, genre-bending Pacific Northwest take on instrumental rock. They formed after a 2016 jam session and released a self-titled EP in 2018. Live sets are explosive and high-energy, with equal interplay between guitar, bass, and drums.
